Tis the season of baking! I love, love, love making bread! Something about it just warms my heart and makes me feel so accomplished when they turn out.
I found this recipe for spicy scallion challah rolls on Pinterest earlier this year and knew I had to try them. SPOILER ALERT. They. Were. Delicious. A little sweet, savory, just the right amount of spice…yep, I’m obsessed.
FYI the recipe makes a HUGE batch. This is what my dough looked like after proofing them.
Because it made so much, I made rolls and then an extra braided loaf because they are so fun to make!!
When they are all folded, cover, and leave them to rise for 30 min and preheat the oven to 375.
Once risen, brush with egg wash and cook for about 20 minutes.
Don’t they look amazing?!
