Ok guys, I’m a liiiiittle late to the game, but I’m so excited to share some of my favorite wine items for this year’s gift guide!!
My love for wine started out slow, but it was small gifts like some of the below that helped fuel my passion and obsession. I now have more wine gadgets than I ever could have imagined and friends will say things like, “So which device should I use to open the bottle today?” But that’s ok! For the avid wine lover in your life, there is nothing I can recommend more than giving the gift of wine education. I am a huge fan of WSET and have completed Levels 1-3 myself. The Level 1 Award in Wines course is the perfect gift for someone looking to further their love of wine with a foundational education from the leading global wine education companies.
For those local to California, Napa Valley Wine Academy has great online and in person options across the state and in a few other states as well. You can also check out The Wine House in LA or Neptune School of Wine in Orange county for some other amazing options.

Wine Folly: Magnum Edition: The Master Guide, $22
For anyone that is a fan of wine, this book is a must have. Whether you are brand new and looking to branch out on your wine choices, or a wine snob that is looking for a great, easy guide to learn more, this is your book. Filled with tons of beautiful graphics and information, this book makes understanding wine so easy!
Coravin 100015 Model One System, Preservation, Cobalt Blue/White/Grey, $139.95
Ohhh my new best friend. If you havent heard of Coravin, you need to get on it ASAP. Basically, you insert a needle through the cork and push an inert gas into the bottle that allows wine to come out while not exposing any of it in the bottle to oxygen! This is great for that fancy bottle that you maybe want to try but not open for a few years, or even if you want a glass for yourself, but don’t want to commit to a whole bottle! I couldn’t recommend this one enough.
Avanti 12 Bottle Thermoelectric Counter Top Wine Cooler – Model EWC1201, $111
This was the very first wine fridge I ever owned. Before I became obsessed and bought two larger ones, this was the perfect size and place to store my wines. If you are planning on buying a bottle and keeping for more than a few days, it’s always best to keep them at a constant temperature so the wine doesn’t spoil. I enjoy this fridge because if you don’t finish a bottle you can throw in a wine vacuum cork and keep it upright to preserve it for a few more days!
Vacu Vin Wine Saver Pump, $16.99
These little corks are perfect for that bottle you just couldn’t finish, but don’t want to waste. The device pumps all the air out of the bottle to help preserve the wine for a little bit longer. I have one and personally love it!

Any wine lover needs a solid set of glasses. I love these because they are versatile and sturdy!
Richard Brendon Wine Glass, $112/2 glasses
If you are looking to invest in a higher end glass, I highly recommend these glasses from Ricard Brendon in collaboration with Jancis Robinson! They are delicate, but study and make me feel very fancy every time I use them!

For those bottles you arent worried about storing at the perfect temperature, its always nice to have a wine rack handy that keeps your bottles safe in a more stylish way. I love the sleek design of this one and it’s not overbearingly large!

Hydroflasks are pretty amazing in general, so why not get that special someone a wine glass version to take on the road? The insulated material will keep that glass of white nice and chilly even on hot summer days at the beach!
Secura SWO-3N Electrical Wine Bottle Opener, Stainless Steel, $20
This is hands down my favorite wine opener. There are a few like it on the market, but what I love about this one is that the clear bottom allows you to see when the cork has been completely removed and takes out any guesswork. Plus it’s super pretty!

The perfect stocking stuffer! I just got these guys a few days ago and they are super fun, cozy and come in a cute little cupcake package.

This gift is great for any home entertainer and the perfect companion to a glass of wine! I love that this board has a place to store your cheese knives and is super compact!

This bag is so fun and perfect to bring to a picnic or tailgate even when you don’t want to worry about carrying glass bottles around!
Wine Decanter Aerator Set, $48
Another favorite of mine! Decanters are perfect for helping a heavy wine breathe and are a great way to display wine for a nice dinner, but they can be a huge pain to clean. This one is awesome because it comes with the stand to dry it as well as a cleaning brush!

This was my very first wine accessory and honestly if you are a red wine lover, it’s absolutely necessary. This little device will help incorporate air into your wine which will bring out all the characteristics in the wine!
