Happy Halloween everyone! I cannot believe how fast this year has flown by so far. Since today is the unofficial day of sweets and we’re about to head into baking season for the holidays, I thought I would share a new favorite recipe for chocolate red wine cookies.
I posted earlier this year a chocolate red wine cake I made for a wine tasting party, but wanted to make something a little more simple and accessible to share!
These cookies are really easy and also aren’t super sweet which I love . You can really any type of red wine that you’d like, but I chose to use a red blend from Obession Wines that is Merlot based because Merlot is not an overpowering red wine. Merlot is classic because it can go with most types of meals and will not overwhelm other flavors. Plus this is just a really good wine so I wanted to bake with it!
Find where you can get a bottle of Obsession here! What should I bake or cook with red wine next? Leave your suggestions below!
