January is one of my favorite times of the year to visit Napa. Mustard seeds are blooming, the weather is cool, but beautiful and wines are always incredible.
Last year, my WSET D1 exam took place at The Embassy Suites Napa Valley and even though we were only there for an hour for the exam, I knew this was the place I wanted to stay on my next visit.
Located just outside of downtown Napa, this resort is nestled peacefully amongst the trees with plenty of parking, we stayed in a 2 room suite with two full beds, a couch, bar and dining table. The beds were extremely comfy and the complimentary bottle of wine was such a special treat!
One of the hardest parts of a wine tasting trip for me is trying to find a spot to grab breakfast before a day of tasting. The complimentary breakfast included daily with our stay took out all of the stress and was also delicious! They offered an omelette and pancake bar along with pastries, cereals, fruits, yogurts, etc.
In addition to a lovely breakfast, there is a nightly happy hour included with a few free drink tickets included in your stay! We also enjoyed dinner one evening with live music which was lovely after a long day out.
The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. From the large pond with swan gliding through the center of the resort, to the tree lined walk way to the outdoor pool it made for idyllic surroundings.
As an extra note, my stay was during the Covid-19 pandemic. In regards to safety, the hotel did an excellent job making us feel protected. All staff was masked and there was no room cleaning service unless specifically requested. It was very appreciated to see their efforts in keeping guests safe!
Overall, I cannot recommend The Embassy Suites Napa Valley enough for your next trip to wine country. From the spacious, comfortable rooms to the included amenities it was a perfect place to stay. I cannot wait for my next visit! To book your stay click here!
